Dimitra Papathanasiou graduated from the Faculty of Law at Democritus University of Komotini. She is a lawyer at the Court of First Instance and a member of the Athens Bar Association. Since 2022, she has been a member of the legal team at "Tefta Kyriakou-Tsiala & Partners." She is an accredited mediator by the Ministry of Justice. She practices active law with a specialization in civil, family, criminal, and labor law. She handles real estate transactions, property transfers, title checks, payment orders, claims, and the drafting of employment contracts. She is also a Certified Data Protection Officer (DPO) by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is actively involved in resolving legal issues related to data protection and privacy, as well as in drafting privacy policies. In 2022, she received certification in Criminology and Criminal Matters from Panteion University of Athens. Since 2021, she has been a scientific member of the Legal Department of the Hellenic Red Cross and a scientific member of the "No One Alone" Social Volunteer Network. She has also been involved in the writing and publication of legal articles.
